Mitchell serves Kiewit Power Engineers as the Manager of Air Quality. He has over 30 years of engineering experience in emission control technologies; extensive experience in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and flue gas desulfurization (FGD) design, operations and testing expertise and over 35 years of design experience for various fossil and nuclear power generation projects. He is responsible for Kiewit’s emission control program including air permit issues, studies, and conceptual and preliminary design. Mitchell previously was Bechtel's Manager of Air Quality Control Systems and joined Kiewit in 2011. Mitchell led the project development and preliminary design activities for several AQCS retrofit projects. He has also provided extensive on-site support for operating issues as well as performance testing.
