Justin Marsico is the executive director for financial integrity at the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service, where he is working to prevent fraud and improper payments in the federal government. Justin previously served as BFS’s data lead, which includes publication of USAspending.gov and FiscalData.Treasury.gov. Before joining Treasury, Justin he worked in ethics and compliance at the Department of Commerce, as an analyst at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and previously at Treasury as an international economist. Justin holds master’s degrees from the University of Michigan in applied economics and public policy.
