Doug Walter, AKBD, is an architect in Denver, who has specialized in residential remodeling for the past 40 years. He has special expertise in lighting, accessibility, historic preservation, and kitchens & baths. Since 2015, he has been a Contributing Editor for Pro Remodeler magazine, where he has penned about 10 articles on lighting. He has presented at 5 of the 6 past Kitchen & Bath Industry Shows, and is on the Chapters presentation program. He was just recognized as one of the “2018 Top 50 Innovators” by Kitchen & Bath Design News (K&BDN) magazine, and is an active member of NKBA, IES, AIA, ICC and NAHB. Doug is currently serving on a national working group for NKBA, charged with rewriting the Kitchen & Bath Design Guidelines, and another, creating the Lighting Badge.
