Alena Capra is the owner, and principal of the Fort Lauderdale based, award winning design firm, Alena Capra Designs. She has more than two decades of experience as an interior designer, as well as a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD). Alena is a graduate of both the University of Miami, and the Metropolitan Institute of Design. 2024 was an exciting year of awards--- in addition to being named KBB's Person of the Year, Alena also won three awards in the NKBA South Florida chapter's Design Competition (First Place Guest Bath, First Place Powder Room, and Best of 2024), and was honored as the ""Influential Design Industry Professional of the Year"" at the Miami RED Awards.
