Jeff Gordinier is the food & drinks editor of Esquire magazine and the author of Hungry: Eating, Road-Tripping, and Risking It All with the Greatest Chef in the World, a book about the Danish chef René Redzepi. His work over the years has been published in The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly, Details, Travel + Leisure, Elle, Spin, Outside, GQ, Real Simple, the Los Angeles Times, Creative Nonfiction, and PoetryFoundation.org, as well as in anthologies such as Best Food Writing, Best American Nonrequired Reading, Yes Is the Answer, and The Cassoulet Saved Our Marriage. He lives north of New York City, along the Hudson River, with his wife, Lauren Fonda, and his four children.
