As Executive Director at the Smart Cities Council, Jason helps his member companies from around the world optimize their city engagement strategy and unlock new opportunities. He has developed multiple programs that help bring cities and suppliers together to build a more livable, workable and sustainable world. Recently the Smart Cities Council launched a City Networks Task Force to help educate cities about network technology and advocate for common sense policy to foster innovation. Prior to the Council, Jason was Group Publisher for FierceWireless, FierceTelecom, FierceCable, FierceGovernment and more. In that role he helped launch new products, scale sales and editorial teams, and helped guide the company through multiple transactions. In addition to his professional pursuits, he also spends time coaching little league and as a groupie for his daughter's middle school rock band.
