Ken Smith has been an in-house counsel for many years at a large contractor and his responsibilities have included contract negotiations, contract administration and dispute avoidance, but mainly dispute resolution on construction claims, including on design/build and P3 projects and involving large insurance claims. He has over 30 years' experience in construction law and design law matters, and has worked as a lawyer (law firm and in-house), a contractor project staff member, and a consulting engineer.
