Nunzio A. Ruggeri is an Executive Vice President and Corporate General Counsel for Allan Myers, the largest, self-performing heavy civil construction company and materials provider in the Mid-Atlantic. In his role as legal counsel since 2013, Mr. Ruggeri is responsible for advising on all legal and compliance matters involving Allan Myers, Inc. and its subsidiaries. His primary responsibilities include: advising the board of directors and senior management on issues and initiatives; development of, and training on, policies and procedures designed to ensure regulatory compliance; advising on the management and support of a workforce of over 2000 dedicated employees; providing risk management on projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic; drafting and negotiation of agreements in support of commercial transactions; management of joint venture and other strategic relationships; acquisitions; and dispute resolution. Mr. Ruggeri also serves as a member of the Allan Myers Executive Committee and Senior Leadership Team, which are responsible for the development and implementation of corporate strategy. After receiving his JD cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, Mr. Ruggeri spent five years with Pepper Hamilton LLP where he concentrated his practice on construction litigation and government contract matters. Subsequently, Mr. Ruggeri spent six years as corporate counsel for SEI Investments Company. There he supported SEI’s private banking business unit, providing counsel throughout the client life cycle, including solution development, contracting and client management in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Mr. Ruggeri is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University, magna cum laude. He lives outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is married with three children.
