Jonna Thomas is the Food Scientist on Subway’s Quality Assurance team responsible for the produce, distribution, and spice categories across North America. She joined Subway® in 2015 to work with produce suppliers to drive quality and food safety improvements and supports GS1 adoption across the produce category. Jonna is also a part of the Incident Management Team for the SUBWAY® system, which handles product recalls and withdrawals. She has a background in microbiology, product development, and food safety. She previously held the position of Food Technologist at Dole Fresh Vegetables.
