Ahmad Alkhayyat became the public works director for Madera County in 2016 after serving as interim director beginning in November of the previous year. He worked for the county nine years prior to being named the director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Iowa State University, a Master’s degree in business administration from University of La Verne, and is a registered civil engineer in California.
