Born into the business, Justin grew up learning about the waste industry from his father. His career in solid waste and recycling began in his late teens with Caglia Environmental where he gained years of valuable hands on experience. At the young age of 26, Justin accepted his current position as the Division Manager of Redrock Environmental Group, part of the Caglia family of companies. Since 2012, Justin has safely and successfully directed landfill operations, waste collection, fleet maintenance, and hazardous waste management in Madera County, CA. He also serves as president of the Board of Directors for the San Joaquin Valley Paleontology Foundation, which operates the Fossil Discovery Center. Most of the fossils at the Discovery Center are found at the Fairmead Landfill. As a SWANA Certified Manager of Landfill Operations, he has worked diligently with the Public Works Department to make improvements in the solid waste and recycling program in Madera County. By introducing automated curbside collection to residents, aiding in partial mandatory efforts, and developing an organic waste collection program, Justin has become a crucial component of Caglia Environmental’s continued partnership with Madera County. His main mission is to continue strengthening the company during growth while providing safe and advanced services, focusing on sustainability, integrity, and the community.
