Heather Stetler is a graduate student researching methods for creating citizen buy-in to sustainable initiatives, the circular economy, and recycling programs. In addition to being a teaching assistant, she works as the CSR Coordinator at Natural Fiber Welding. Her thesis work centers on developing methods to track consumer behavior in purchasing sustainable clothing and to support life-cycled, circular production practices. She is developing educational opportunities for existing professionals and students enabling them to transition their current work environments into atmospheres that foster more sustainable behavior and design. Heather has a B.A. in History from the University of Northern Colorado and will complete her M.S. in Environmental Sustainability and College Teaching Certificate at the University of Oklahoma in Spring 2020.
