Loop Industries
Richard Schofield is the Director of the Loop Industrial Solutions division of Loop Industries. His role is to manage the commercial deployment of the company. Prior to joining Loop, Mr. Schofield was the project development manager for a cellulosic ethanol company. He also worked as a process engineer for a consulting firm in the chemical and petrochemical industries.
Mr. Schofield sits on the International Board of Directors of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) representing the Quebec Chapter. In 2017, he was selected as part of Waste 360’s 40 under 40, awarded to the top young professionals in the waste management industry. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Masters degree in Engineering Management, both from Université de Sherbrooke. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Quebec.
