Patrick joined Visit Seattle in 2014 in the newly created role of Senior Director of Convention Strategy – representing both Visit Seattle and the Washington State Convention Center (WSCC). In this role, Patrick works to maximize bookings in the city of Seattle and the WSCC and increase economic impact and center profitability. He interacts with the sales teams at both Visit Seattle and WSCC to ensure proper meeting space utilization and room night production for the nearby hotel community. Patrick also works with key hotel leadership to ensure strategic alignment. Prior to joining Visit Seattle, Patrick spent 9 years with MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. During his tenure, he held positions in Financial Planning and Analysis with MGM Grand Hotel and in Revenue Management. Roles included Revenue Manager for The Signature at MGM Grand; Revenue Manager overseeing the New York New York Hotel & Casino; and Director of Revenue Management with collective oversight of Luxor, Excalibur, and Circus Circus Hotel/Casinos – over 12,000 rooms combined. Patrick is originally from Buffalo, NY and graduated with a BS in Hotel & Resort Management from Rochester Institute of Technology.
