Sara Beatty, CVP, is the Director of Theater Operations at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO. Her expertise includes developing production budgets, managing event labor, and facilitating artist hospitality, all while maintaining a safe and efficient venue. Currently the Chairman of the IAVM Performing Arts Committee, Sara leads educational training at VenueConnect conferences and has overseen PAC Boot Camp sessions for four years. Her extensive involvement in IAVM includes moderating the Performing Arts Back of House Townhall Webinars and serving as a mentor in the Mentor Connect program. Additionally, Sara is a founding member and organizer of the Venue Manager Mom's Affinity Group, fostering networking and support for women in the profession who are mothers. She is thrilled to be serving the performing arts community and extends a big THANK YOU to all those who have contributed to the PAC committee this year.
