As a nationally certified and experiences trainer and workshop facilitator, Hazel Roper is sought after as a speaker and workshop presenter. She has presented at professional international, national and regional conferences, business retreats, community groups and not-for-profit organizations. She has an extensive professional background in organizational development, education and human resources. Her career includes managerial and leadership experience in business development, manufacturing, health care and higher education. Hazel is a Senior Human Resources Manager for Dallas Park and Recreation. In addition, she is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of training and employee development; leadership development and process improvement strategies. During her career, she served in various leadership roles including: Assistant Executive Director of the South Bend Housing Authority: Senior Consultant for Training and Development, Steelcase, Inc.; Director of Enrollment Management, Davenport University; Assistant Director of Small Business Development, South West Michigan; and Assistant Director, Undergraduate Research and Academic Achievement, Grand Valley State University. Hazel has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Andrews University and a Masters from Western Michigan University. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
