Adam Radziminski has served as the Director, Events at the Vancouver Convention Centre since 2015. Adam oversees the Client Services team through the planning and delivery of the 550 events hosted every year at the venue. He is privileged to work with a team that welcomes over one million attendees to the venue every year, working hard to provide every attendee with a superb guest experience. Prior to joining the amazing team at the Vancouver Convention Centre, he was Director of Operations at MCI Canada, a third-party conference and event planning company. Adam’s career has included event planning work on events of all shapes and sizes at venues across North America, from conferences and fundraisers through to special events and music festivals. Adam graduated from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC with a Bachelor of Business Administration and minor in Criminology. He is a proud member of International Association of Venue Management (IAVM) and has served on the IAVM Venue Safety and Security Committee from 2017-2018. His favorite moments of the week are the times of genuine laughter that he shares with his colleagues, which emerge from the truly bizarre situations that can only happen in the quirky world of events.
