Cory attended California State University Long Beach where he was a member of the 1980 championship football team. He graduated in 1981 with a BA degree in real estate finance and marketing. Cory started his career in event security/peer group security field in 1975 in Southern California. Cory realized the industry needed a guest service approach to event security and in 1984 founded Staff Pro. Staff pro is now one of the largest event security companies in the nation and provides its professional services to hundreds of clients and thousands of events annually. Cory sold Staff Pro In 2014. Staff Pro is now a division of Allied Universal Security, the largest security company in the nation. Staff Pro will soon be re-branded as Allied Universal Event Services.
