Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA)
Joyce Leveston currently serves as the General Manager for the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA). With the oversight for the day to day customer experience for both the BCEC and the Hynes Convention Centers, where she reports directly to the Executive Director, David Gibbons. services, as well as event operations teams to include in-house services partnerships and venue operations. Work hand in hand with the VP of Sales for GBCVB and the Executive Director for the BCMC to solicit and promote Boston as a world-class hospitality and convention destination. She is responsible for the strategic performance of the convention center authority both (BCEC and Hynes) and represent the NE Region of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Leveston, has oversight for over 200+ staff members and (6) direct reports. Joyce earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credential in 1997, her Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) in 2015 and her Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation in July 2018. She has three decades of experience in convention management, facility operations and event coordination. Joyce has a proven track record in executing high-level events and conventions – while demonstrating dynamic leadership and delivering first-rate customer service and client relationships. Leveston, has the unique skill to bring a client’s event vision to life and therefore creating a memorable experience for special event producers, conventioneers and attendees alike.
