Al Karosas serves as the General Manager of the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC), a versatile 15,000-seat arena located on the campus of Penn State University. Beyond his role at the BJC, Al has contributed his extensive industry expertise to various university entities, including performing arts centers. Notably, he orchestrated and managed the largest stadium show in Luke Combs' career, held at the iconic 110,000-seat Beaver Stadium. With three decades of experience in live sports and entertainment, Al is a seasoned professional. He holds degrees from Penn State University and the International Association of Venue Managers' (IAVM) Venue Management School and Graduate Institute. Al is actively involved in Penn State's Coaches vs. Cancer, where he has served as Co-Director for nearly five years. Additionally, he is a board member of the Happy Valley Sports and Entertainment Alliance. Al also imparts his knowledge as an adjunct professor in Penn State's Recreation, Park, and Tourism department, teaching both introductory and advanced arena management courses, including in-person and World Campus classes. Outside of his professional endeavors, Al enjoys quality time with his wife, Lisa, their two sons, Max and Zach, and their dog, Cookie.
