Jay joined tvsdesign in 1988. Since that time, his career has been centered on large public projects encountered everyday by large numbers of people - convention centers, public assembly facilities, urban spaces and high-rise structures. These projects have become important and memorable parts of their communities, welcoming visitors and acting as catalysts for further growth and development. Most recently Jay has served as Design Principal on some of the firm’s largest and most complex projects including the expansion of McCormick Place in Chicago, IL; New China International Exposition Center in Beijing, China; China West Convention Center in Chengdu, China; the Daechee Residential Complex in Seoul, Korea; and the transformative renovation of the Cobo Center in Detroit. Current projects include the expansions of the Charlotte Convention Center and the Savannah Convention Center. A true designer, Jay thrives on the complexities of architecture and the challenge of mastering the details of a larger form. Working around the globe, Jay’s experience is integral to the firm and his vision at the forefront of our design values.
