Marty currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for RWJBarnabas Health. RWJBarnabas Health is the largest health system in New Jersey comprised of approximately 35,000 employees. Marty’s career has been Health Care focused in Human Resources. Previously, he has been a human resources leader for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Catholic Healthcare Partners and Lehigh Valley Health Network. He taught at the University of Scranton’s Health Care and Human Resources graduate school for ten years. While having traditional responsibilities in Human Resources, he has had operations responsibilities at many points in his career. Marty’s work has been noted in such publications as the Advisory Board and others. He has been instrumental in HRIS related implementation initiatives, automation of human resources functionalities as well as improving employee retention and engagement resulting in his organizations being selected as one of the Best Places to Work in Fortune magazine and Modern Healthcare.
