Julie Lodge-Jarrett currently serves as the Chief Talent Officer at Ford Motor Company, and leads the Global Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE). She has overall global responsibility for Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Executive & Key Talent, Analytics, Experience & Culture, and Talent Systems and Operations. Prior to this evolving CoE role, Julie was the HR Business Partner for Global Purchasing. She and her family also lived in China on international service in the Asia Pacific & Africa region for over 4 years, serving in two different capacities; VP, Human Resources, Greater China, and Director, AP HR Business Operations (HRBO) and People Processes. Julie joined Ford Motor Company in June 1998, as a Ford College Graduate. She is an HR Generalist, with significant experience in Labor Relations at multiple Manufacturing facilities in the US and across AP, National Negotiations with the United Auto Workers, HR Business Partner roles in several functions (Product Development, Purchasing, Ford Credit, IT, etc.), as well as assignments in HR Strategy and Global Learning & Development. Julie was instrumental in designing and launching the Organization Development (OD) function within Ford, and led efforts to deliver an internal OD capability building effort across Ford HR globally called the OD Institute (ODI). She is a strong champion of Better World initiatives, and has invested countless hours volunteering around the world, helping to make lives better in the communities in which she’s lived, worked and traveled. Julie is American, and was born in a small town in the state of Ohio. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and an MBA with a specialization in Management from the University of Toledo. She is married to Steve, and has two children – Bennie (17) and Josie (15).
