Bill Balog is an HR Executive with over 25 years of progressive strategic human resources experience. He has been with Dell Technologies for over 20 years serving in a variety of senior executive human resources leadership roles. Bill is currently the Sr. Vice President, Global Compensation and Benefits. In this role, Bill is responsible for the design and implementation of global total compensation and benefits strategies to achieve market competitiveness and business objectives with a focus on employee engagement. Additionally, Bill leads the HR M&A function responsible for the coordination of all HR activities associated with acquisitions and divestitures. He is also responsible for global immigration and mobility services. Bill led the HR integration of the $67B EMC acquisition which has been considered the largest-ever acquisition in the technology sector. Post-acquisition, Bill led the complete redesign of the compensation and benefits program for the newly combined company of over 150K team members located across 110 countries. Most recently Bill led the compensation program redesign resulting from Dell Technologies move from a privately held company to the reemergence as a publicly traded company. Bill and his team are currently leading a progressive digital transformation agenda utilizing advanced technologies in both compensation and benefits with the goal to drive improved operational efficiency while delivering an enhanced team member experience.
