Denise Abbott is Vice President, Human Resources for FedEx Ground, headquartered in Moon Township, Pa. Denise has more than 20 years of employee relations experience working with corporate professionals in a variety of industries. She joined FedEx Ground in 2011 as a Senior Attorney in the labor law group and has held various roles within the company before assuming her current role as Vice President of Human Resources in 2017. In this role, Denise oversees employee relations, diversity and inclusion, compliance, training and development and HR service delivery for the company. Denise earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and her law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. She is the recipient of the prestigious FedEx Five Star Award. Denise resides in Pittsburgh with her four sons.
