Casie Antalis has over two decades of experience in national security and intelligence programs. She is currently the Director of the Joint Cyber Coordination Group at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. In this role, Casie leads the Department to ensure synchronization of Department-wide operational planning, risk assessment, technical deployments, investigations, and stakeholder engagement to counter threats to US cyber and critical infrastructure. Previously, she served as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at DHS where she oversaw DHS’ national security intelligence programs and policy development. She led efforts for the Department’s critical national security issues including response to public security incidents, countering nation state threats, and homeland security operational responses to domestic and global threats. Prior to joining DHS, she served as the first Chief of Staff of the National Vetting Center (NVC) at Customs and Border Protection where she designed and implemented USG processes to leverage intelligence and sensitive USG information for national security and border security missions. Casie served as the Director for Security Screening and Vetting within the Border and Transportation Security Directorate at the National Security Council (NSC) during the first Trump Administration. There, she directed and coordinated U.S. Government policy development for nationals security and immigration programs, watchlisting, biometrics, and intelligence integration to support operations. Casie served over ten years at the National Counterterrorism Center where she led efforts for Screening and Vetting, supported the terrorism targeting efforts, and within the Directorate of Strategic Operational Planning where she helped develop United States policy on Countering Improvised Explosive Devices. Casie has previously served at the Army’s National Ground Intelligence Center, the National Joint Terrorism Task Force and Department of State Diplomatic Security Service where she supported tactical counterterrorism operations and global investigations. Casie has received numerous awards during her career including the National Security Council’s Outstanding Service Award, National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation, and CIA’s Meritorious Unit Citation. Casie is proud to be a University of Maryland College Park alum where she earned her B.S in Psychology and Criminology. Casie lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and three children.
