Gerry Talbert has spent the last 40 years in Defence, enjoying a successful career with the Royal Navy in Military Aviation he transferred to supporting and delivering Information Systems as an Warfare Officer, his final role within the Royal Navy being that of Security Accreditor for Military Platforms. He has worked for the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) for the last 6 years supporting and delivering research into a variety of approaches towards delivering future capabilities for the UK Ministry of Defence. Within that time span with DSTL, Data Centric Security has steadily moved from an academic concept to tangible reality.
