Nissan is the DSE for CESA 7 and one of the three partners overseeing the Wisconsin Special Education Mediation System. He is a member of the Governor's Council on Autism and the Children Long Term Support Council. Nissan Co-Authored the WCASS Guide Supporting Students with Print Disability, and he is currently Co-Chairing a WCASS task force leveraging technology to improve reading.
