As a teacher and administrator, Jeff builds meaningful relationships to fuel school growth, directs school improvement efforts that have met with great success, and creates partnerships throughout the community to empower academic and economic opportunity. Engaging, inspired teaching remains his core commitment and the requisite skills transfer successfully to positions of leadership. Jeff's work has been recognized by several national organizations, but more important, he has earned the respect of his students, colleagues, and community through dedicated service to the mission of his schools and the people he serves. Jeff is the superintendent of the Sauk Prairie School District where he has been part of the district administrative team since 2012. Prior to returning home to Wisconsin, Jeff spent 9 years as a high school administrator in the Chicago Public Schools. He and his wife live on a small farm in Sauk County with their two children.
