As a teacher and administrator, Jeff has built meaningful relationships to fuel school growth, has directed school improvement efforts that have met with great success, and created partnerships throughout the community to empower academic and economic opportunity. Engaging, inspired teaching remains Jeff's core commitment and the requisite skills transfer successfully to positions of leadership. Jeff is currently the superintendent of the Sauk Prairie School District northwest of Madison and previously served as the assistant superintendent in Sauk Prairie after serving for nine years as a high school administrator on the south side of Chicago. Jeff and his wife live on a farm north of Spring Green with their two children. Jeff was named a Disney American Teacher Award winner and to USA Today's All-USA Teacher First Team in addition to being named Sauk Prairie's Citizen of the Year for his work with the community's schools and leading the effort to build the new Great Sauk State Trail.
