As Gresham Smith’s Healthcare Director of Research and Innovation, Lesa Lorusso strengthens the firm’s data-backed human-centered design approach. With nearly two decades of experience, she understands that research is a critical step in developing design solutions that enhance operational efficiencies while elevating the experience for the end-user. Lesa is a member of Vital by Design, a national research collaborative at the University of Florida that investigates and advances the impact of architecture and design on health for the aged. A designer by trade and licensure, she is recognized as an expert on the role of multi-sensory environments for behavioral health.
