Andy’s career has focused on building, life safety and fire code consulting. Mr. Schneider worked for several lead fire protection engineering consulting firms in the Baltimore-Washington region and spent nearly half of his career with the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office. Mr. Schneider earned his BS in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1996. He is a member of NFPA, SFPE, and ICC and served on various committees for these organizations throughout his career, as well as for local jurisdictions to assist with code and regulatory process development.
