Perkins Eastman/AIA Design for Aging
As an architect and gerontologist, Alexis’s focus is to improve the quality of life for an aging population through design. Her career is dedicated to creating communities that are invisibly supportive, pushing the industry toward innovative models, and creating joyful and engaging environments. Alexis’s primary focus is on programming, planning, research, and teaching. She regularly writes and speaks on environmental gerontology and is a guest lecturer on designing for memory care at the Davis School of Gerontology, University of Southern California. She is an Associate Principal with Perkins Eastman and former co-chair of the AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community.
