David is a registered architect specializing in healthcare design. For 28 years he was the State of New Jersey Authority Having Jurisdiction over the design and construction of every healthcare facility planned, altered, or constructed. He is a 25-year member of the Facility Guidelines Institute and has served in numerous positions, including: Vice Chairman of the Health Facilities Guidelines Revisions Committee for the 2018 edition and Chairman of the 2022 edition. He currently provides consultation to the healthcare industry regarding the FGI Guidelines, NFPA Standards and the International Building Code, and is a frequent speaker for organizations throughout the country.
