Dr. Cathy Maxwell is a researcher with expertise in aging, injury, and frailty. Dr. Maxwell is interested in interventions that help older adults understand what is happening to their bodies as they age and the measures that they can take to prevent, delay, and mitigate the condition of frailty. Her overarching aim is to empower older adults to manage their personal trajectories of aging so that they can experience a better quality of life, wellbeing and readiness for end of life. Dr. Maxwell’s work is widely published and she enjoys speaking to audiences of all ages about the aging process.
