Mr. Smith brings 45 years of programming, planning, and design experience to healthy living design. He is a certified member of ACHA, a LEED AP, and accredited under EDAC. His inaugural white paper sanctioned by ACHA, outlines a Model for the Next Continuum as the foundation for integrated healthcare programming, planning, design and implementation for clients throughout the southeast. Donovan recently composed a holistic framework for strategic design presented through Environments for Aging and Healthcare Design. This framework tool enables healthcare and senior care clients to envision and to manage their assets and their abilities in a local context.
