Koomah is an intersex and genderfluid artist, performer, legislative policy advisor, and strategist. Koomah is co-founder of The Houston Intersex Society, a board member of the Transgender Foundation of America and the Houston Transgender Unity Committee, and founder of the intersex People of Color Artist Collective (iPOCA). Koomah has showcased artwork and presented workshops across the U.S. and internationally.
