Doug Haaland, Ph.D., is VP, Talent Management, at Whirlpool Corporation, where he has global responsibility for talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, organization design, and HR analytics. He joined Whirlpool in 2016. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Doug held talent management roles at Eaton and Nike. Earlier in his career, he provided consulting and program management services to global clients as a Senior Consultant at DDI. Doug received his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University, and a B.A. in Psychology from St. Olaf College.
