Ricky Gonzales is a Statistician in OSHA’s Directorate of Enforcement Programs, where he leads data analyses to support the agency’s enforcement efforts. He began his career at OSHA in 2015 as a Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health, focusing on building a more data-driven culture and implementing cross-cutting analytics projects at OSHA. Prior to joining the Department of Labor, Mr. Gonzales had several years of experience designing innovative, data-driven programs in areas ranging from increasing access to affordable health insurance to improving digital engagement for a U.S. presidential campaign. In addition to his work in data and analytics, Mr. Gonzales is concurrently a PhD candidate in Health Policy at Harvard University, where he also received his BA in History and Science.
