Peter Shin is the Founder and CEO of Canvass Labs Inc. He envisions building robust and secure Open Source Software community. He has spent 17 years working on Open Source Software at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, UC San Diego, and at Qualcomm conducting research in both artificial intelligence and big data. While at Qualcomm, he evaluated various aspects of OS compliance and management. He also invented and open sourced License Identifier(LiD). He has published and presented numerous peer reviewed conferences and journal articles. He also organized and led a workshop for Open Source DataTurbine Android SensorPod that he invented.
