Naval Integration Officer
MCTSSA
Captain Steven Gore is an Air Support Control Officer and a Naval Integration Officer for Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA). Captain Gore was stationed with Marine Air Support Squadron 2 in Okinawa, Japan, and served on a 31st MEU deployment. He then served as an Instructor, Curriculum Developer, and Company Commander at Air Control Training Squadron. Captain Gore attended the Naval Postgraduate School and studied Computer Science specializing in data science and autonomous systems. Captain Gore is a graduate of The Basic School, Air Support Control Officer Course, Curriculum Developers Course, and Expeditionary Warfare School. He currently serves as the Deputy Naval Systems Integration Officer at MCTSSA, planning and leading USMC System-of-Systems Operability Tests to better prepare deploying MEUs with C4 system integration aboard amphibious ships. He also supervises the enhancement of MCTSSA’s MAGTF Afloat Integration Environment and coordinates with external naval integration stakeholders for conducting developmental or sustainment testing in Afloat Environment.
