Michael Cooley is an NG Fellow with Northrop Grumman Space Systems (Payload and Ground Systems) in Baltimore, MD. He focuses on the development of RF sensors and antennas and for various radar, EW and communication systems. His experience and technical specialties include space payloads, communications and sensor systems, phased arrays, array-fed reflectors, RF electronics and various other RF technologies. He is currently working on RF sensor design and antenna development for various Programs, primarily for Space and Naval applications. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in 2001, Dr. Cooley worked at several other companies including Boeing Satellite Systems (formerly Hughes Space and Communications), Orbital Sciences Corp. and TASC, Inc. He earned his BSEE from the University of Maryland and his MSEE and Ph.D. (EE) from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
