Dr. Acosta is Director of Software Systems Architecture at CACI. He specializes in software and open systems architecture development for ISR, EW, and Cyber systems employing containers, Kubernetes container orchestration, cloud computing, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Prior to his 11+ year career at CACI, he held Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer positions at startups working on integrated circuit simulation, high-speed network systems management, and embedded database management systems. Acosta holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer and Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and has an M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
