Mr. Damien Tyrrell is the Sentient Vision Systems Regional Director for the Americas and Japan markets. Sentient Vision Systems is a leading developer of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence software solutions for defence and commercial markets, based in Australia with offices in the USA and UK. Since 1999 we have specialised in imagery analysis, building practical software solutions that automatically detect, track and classify small objects. Actively used in the field of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) our solutions are deployed in over 50 countries providing proven, trusted, advanced AI to bring enhanced accuracy and efficiency to complex and dangerous tasks, greatly increase situational awareness, intelligence analysis, and lifesaving capabilities. Damien has over 20 years of senior management experience in leadership and business development, working for world-leading organisations including Boeing, L3Harris and NEC. Prior to that he served 12 years in the Australian Army Signals and Aviation Corps as well as with USAF Space Command. He is actively involved in promoting Defence industry capability and international trade, and has been a company director for financial and not-for-profit organisations. Damien holds an MBA (Technology Management) from Deakin University.
