Michael has been involved with Thermal Spray for more than 30 years across a range of industries, geography and technologies. His first exposure to it's use in the Steel Industry was at a BHP steel plant in Newcastle, Australia in 1989 where work rolls were being sprayed. Since that time he has traveled extensively, lived in six countries, and visited and worked with Steel mills in more than ten countries, developing new applications and working to improve on old ones. He is passionate about the use of thermal spray coatings as a greener alternative to Cr Plating.
