Stephan leads the engineering and research & development groups working to refine the Molten Oxide Electrolysis technology as the company moves toward the commercialization of its ground-breaking process to produce steel without carbon emissions. Stephan brings three decades of experience in the global aluminum and steel industries, having held senior positions in world-class engineering and technical services companies. Prior to joining Boston Metal, he was a partner and technical director at Hatch Ltd for more than 18 years. Before that, Stephan worked for 12 years at Tata Steel Europe BV (the former Hoogovens Steel Company) in the engineering group of what today is Danieli Corus BV.
