Marco Opitz earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, specializing in laser manufacturing. This foundation propelled his career in laser application research and development at TRUMPF headquarters in Germany. His primary expertise lies in laser welding and laser additive manufacturing processes. Leveraging this knowledge, he joined the laser application center at TRUMPF US, where he contributes to a diverse portfolio of e-mobility projects.
