Jason Gould has more than 18 years of experience specializing in leading teams performing auditing and assessing internal controls—particularly in IT—for independent audits guided by the GAO FISCAM and GAGAS; FISMA performance audits; and management consulting engagements (e.g., OMB Circular A-123 assessments, IT governance support, IT controls remediation support, and audit readiness). As an IT managing director, Mr. Gould reviews and approves selected workpapers, monitors the progress of IT audits, helps to resolve IT-related problems, supervises IT teams, and reviews the auditors’ report on internal controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Mr. Gould currently holds four professional certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Data Privacy Solution Engineer (CDPSE), and the Project Management Professional (PMP).
