Steve Kucharski is the Director for SBA’s Office of Performance Systems Management (OPSM). Mr. Kucharski initiates and oversees all financial system operations and enhancements to meet contemporary technology capabilities and ensure they comply with present-day standards and best practices. Mr. Kucharski entered the Federal Government after a two-year fellowship as a Presidential Management Intern (PMI) in 1996, where he served at the Department of Justice and on Capitol Hill. He then began his career at the SBA in 1998. Steve received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University prior to beginning his career in the Federal Government.
