Brian Z. Bloodsworth serves as the Director of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) Program Management Office at the U.S. Department of the Interior. He provides executive leadership and serves as a key advisor to the Secretary and Interior’s bureaus on planning, execution, and oversight of the $9.5 billion GAOA National Parks and Public Land Legacy Restoration Fund (LRF). He also leads a multidisciplinary workgroup focused on improving Interior’s land acquisition efficiency. Previously, Brian served as the Deputy Assistant Director for Management and Administration at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and acted as the agency’s Chief Financial Officer, Head of Contracting Activity, Chief Sustainability Officer, and Designated Agency Safety and Health Official. Prior to joining the Federal workforce in 2008, Brian was a Director at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP. Brian is a graduate of Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business where he earned a B.A. in Accounting.
