Angela Leroux serves as the Director of Financial Systems Oversight and Transformation within the Office of Finance and Planning for the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this role, Angela is responsible for representing and leading NCA throughout the implementation of VA’s new Financial System and managing internal controls over financial reporting for the NCA are sufficient. Angela has over 20 years of experience in Federal Financial Accounting and Auditing. Her prior experience includes serving as an Auditor for Marine Corps Non-Appropriated Fund Auditing Service, Cost Accountant for the IRS, Chief of Financial Assurance and Controls Testing for the IRS, and Chief of Finance Operations for the National Cemetery Administration. Angela has a bachelor’s degree in information systems and accounting and a master’s degree in accounting/controllership. Angela earned her CPA license and the designation of CGFM. She has been married for more than 30 years and has two young adult sons.
